His heart recently broken, plastic surgeon Danny Maccabee (Adam Sandler) pretends to be married so he can enjoy future dates with no strings attached. His web of lies works, but when he meets Palmer (Brooklyn Decker) -- the gal of his dreams -- she resists involvement. Instead of coming clean, Danny enlists Katherine (Jennifer Aniston), his assistant, to pose as his soon-to-be-ex-wife. Instead of solving Danny's problems, the lies create more trouble.

Critics Consensus

Just Go With It may be slightly better than some entries in the recently dire rom-com genre, but that's far from a recommendation.

DY J This movie is so funny Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/04/25 Full Review SkyRo P "Just Go with It," featuring Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler, turned out to be surprisingly entertaining. I initially expected it to be cheesy and not well-received, but I found myself enjoying it despite some critics being overly harsh on films like this, particularly when they feature big-name stars. The comedic chemistry between Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler works surprisingly well. I wasn't sure how they would fit together in a comedic setting, but they’ve proven themselves with multiple collaborations, and now I’m fully invested in their on-screen relationship. The kids in the film add a delightful touch, especially with their funny moments, like the fake British accents and their amusing antics. Griffin Gluck, who plays one of the boys, is an actor who has been steadily carving out his niche. While he may not be a household name yet, he’s definitely someone to watch as he continues to grow in his career.I wholeheartedly recommend this film. It’s funny, creative, and packed with charming quirks. With the addition of talents like Amy Smart and Nicole Kidman, it only enhances the experience. Be sure to check it out on Netflix before December 31, and if you miss it there, look for it on your local streaming service. It's definitely worth your time! Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/29/24 Full Review Michael P Very cliche and predictable. Many movie sins with this one, but it passes the time, so I guess I could Just Go With It. Rated 2/5 Stars • Rated 2 out of 5 stars 12/12/24 Full Review Samantha A I absolutely love this movie! It is both hilarious and highly entertaining. I’m genuinely puzzled as to why some people don’t appreciate it—it’s truly one of the best films out there! Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/11/24 Full Review Dirk B It's possibly the dumbest movie ever made. Painfully bad.
